A dynamic, innovative business in the heart of London is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities.

  • Advise stakeholders on compliance issues including licensing, product labelling, product composition, and ethical labelling.
  • Monitor and interpret legislation, government policies, and industry standards, and communicate essential updates to teams and clients.
  • Product composition and specification.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators and policymakers at both central and local government levels.
  • Represent the business at meetings, seminars, and external events, ensuring that compliance and operational standards are upheld.

Personal Profile.

  • Proven experience applying legislation, guidance, and policy in a compliance setting.
  • Strong background in advising on compliance and “licence to operate” issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Advanced IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and exercise discretion and confidentiality.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
