We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales efforts, drive business development, and ensure exceptional customer service. Our client is an expanding food company looking to grow their team to develop new retail business and manage key accounts for their RTE product line. What we are looking for you to do:
- Development and execution of a retail strategic plan, focusing on both Canada and US.
- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the retail strategy and company's overall strategy
- Sales forecasting, pipeline management, order processing, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate and assist with the execution of the Retail strategy – identify potential retail targets across Canada and US.
- Build stronger relationships with existing clients to increase sales and market new products.
- Define sales objectives, strategies, and targets.
- Meet with customers, identifying opportunities and collecting customer and competitor information.
- Participate in various trade events as a company representative.
- Become an expert on the product line and the market, providing intelligence in both areas to the company.
- Full cycle business development initiatives which include cold calling and prospecting.
The experience we are looking for:
- 4+ years retail sales experience in the ready to eat food industry required.
- Clean criminal record and driver’s abstract.
- A hybrid position upon training completion; business development (no direct reports).
